Kajal Aggarwal opens up on 'Paris Paris' censor woes

The Tamil remake of the hit Hindi movie Queen, Paris Paris, has been in the making for several months now. The shooting of this film has been wrapped up and went in for censor certification and that is when the trouble began to unfold for the team. The censor board officials had advocated 25 cuts for the film to be certified following which it has been sent to the revising committee.

Opening up about this issue in an interview to an entertainment portal, Kajal Aggarwal, who plays the main lead in the film had said, “We have made a faithful attempt in remaking Queen in all the south languages and present it to the audience. I wonder what made them ask for so many cuts. We did not want to hurt anyone's intentions and those scenes, which they have asked to cut, are similar to things that happen in all our lives. I have been told that the producers are taking necessary actions and putting in all the efforts to make sure that the scenes are retained… We have shot for a long time for this film and the whole team has put in a lot of efforts. So we expect to taste the fruits of the efforts to put in. Hope the members of the censor board will approve the film without cuts.”
